So, how much of your life would you say happens in a sitcom?

It seems as though you are in the UK. Instead of asking directly about your disease, I've noticed you've mentioned a boat load of drugs and doctor visits and equipment needed for your recovery. I'm wondering, in comparison to say, the states, how much of that do you pay for, how exactly does the expense of it all work out for you?
