DO WHAT VALVE DID! PLEASE!!!!!!!

I'm German and I mostly don't even bother because translations are just awful. Terribly awful. Blizzard is probably the worst with WoW (It's been years since they've translated most of the names and I still can't get over it). But Valve is great. Portal 1 and 2 were marvellous. I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the English version.

Since your family still keeps traditions alive, does that mean that you or your parents speak your tribal language?

None. That's why we talked about that in English class.

You might count the certain celtic tribes as natives but they weren't a thing for 1000 years. After WW2, the Borders of European countries are basically fitting the cultural and ethnic situation of the people so you also can't really talk about the Polish people that were a thing in the east though a lot of them are spread through Germany and came 100 years ago so nobody actually cares about all that and most of them can't even speak Polish.

You might consider the Danish in Schleswig-Holstein natives but they kind of merged together with the Germans at the border spawning Danish schools on German soil and a bilingual population. Especially because of the EU.

You can take into account the different tribes (Saxons, Bavarians and so on) and include the Dutch and the Austrians as well as the German Swiss and say "That land is Saxon land" so the Saxons are the natives but the borders are blurry simply because kingdoms expanded and shrank. That works with Swiss, Austrians, Dutch, Bavarians and so on as well.

Basically, there are no natives. Every kind of people you could call natives either have their own nation or their own state or weren't a thing for 1000 years or lived in Kingdoms that weren't really claiming native land in the first place and even if you stretch the term "native" an awful lot, you'll still not find a clear distinction.

tl;dr: none.

Still depends on the person. They're was a native American on reddit a few months ago that grew up outside of the reservation and was hating on its own people and said that they (he and the other natives) should just stop the bullshit because they got successfully colonised and nobody gives a shit about their culture and they should just let it die.

So, just because somebody is native American, it doesn't mean that you get a neutral or accurate representation.

At least in Germany, we don't really worry about natives hunting. It's even a topic (in a positive) way in English class when we talk about everything outside of Britain.

Edit: In a positive way like "The natives hunt whales and seals because that's how they have fed their family for a long time and they use it for personal usage and not for the big money so it's fine."
