Can those recruits get deployed during that time if needed and get their contracts automatically extended?

No. The service is in The Finnish defence forces. Training is solely for defence. No deployment anywhere.

After The service you can get a job overseas on a peace keeping mission and there is a separate basic training for that. You can also do your mandatory military service in a battalion that is aimed for peace keeping missions but these guys are a minority.

Im 29 now. First time I had a tick episode alone at home was propably when I was 21 and they first started when remembering something embarassing that I had done like as a child. Now I get them hard if I have done something embarassing when drunk.

No. You must enter the service before you are 28 (or 26, cant remember exact) years old. There are multible reasons to postpone The service. For example health reasons, education etc.

If you decide not to serve you can choose civil service. Civil service is one year of basically unpaind work in a hospital or elderly care.

If you dont want to serve at all you can take the house arrest. You get an ankle monitor for one year.
