Yeah, it's shitty when they do it too but the AMA rules don't seem to not allow for ads or PR stunts.
I just wish they were more straightforward with their intent though, OP attempted to be discreet and innocent about the intent, which is still possible but I doubt it looking at their profile.
Be weary of what's an ad and what's a paid promotion these days on reddit. That is all folks nothing more.
I called out someone else as well when he discreetly made it look like it was innocent.
I just always think of intent when I see stuff like this.

Let's consider what NY would be like without any police department at all.

He's kind of grandiose about himself by the way his AMA was written. It's almost as if it's fake and he's trying to give dealers a bad name.
It seems like he's just bragging and now wants to let people know how he's great, rather than genuinely helping people with an AMA.
Or maybe he's using this for free Ads/PR, since car sales are on a decline.
I bet the latter. Considering his grandiose mentality, he probably thought this was a genius idea.
Regardless, some folks here are kind of being really aggressive towards the car dealers. They just may be a bit jealous themselves because they "contribute" to society in their minds.

It cocky about how you said your story of becoming GM, and then you rubbed it in their faces and you rejected their offer after you got laid off.
You "turning it around" may have just been luck of timing and car shortages, so don't forget that.
It's best to be humble so you don't look like a fool in the end, which I have no doubt will happen here pretty soon.

Stay humble friend. It's not 2022 anymore.

Look at OPs post history. This is just an ad AMA.
