Hello, and thank you for making a successor to the greatest game I ever played. I couldn't begin to explain how much me and my older brother played that game way back when, or the influence it had on us. That we now collectively own every single piece of released Planescape roleplaying material should speak volumes.

For a question, though: In the recent Penny Arcade interview, you noted on the science elements on the setting that "If you choose to pursure that aspect, you will find that aspect. If you choose not to, you don’t have to. It will feel like a fantasy game to you."

Planescape was a unique setting in that it challenged many common RPG tropes, but in its essence (and in most of the released material) it was still a fantasy roleplaying game. You moved around through portals, met mythical figures (there was one adventure one where you met specific characters from greek myth, but I will be damned if I can remember it) and fought demons and devils. The setting helped provide even more fantastical elements, but it still played to the "fantasy geek" inside of us.

Now, the Numenara campaign setting has not been released yet, but for fans it is still sort of unclear how the above quote plays into it for those of us who "expected" a fantasy game. Could you perhaps explain in a little more detail how the player can play it as a fantasy game, or play it indulging in the sci-fi elements? How are you going to play up the "magic" or "fantastical" elements without making them overly scientific?

What new heroes would you like to see picked more in competitive games? There was alot of talk from comp players about Bramble and Solstice, but as far as I am aware neither has been picked up since they went tournament legal?
