I remember years ago seeing a sign in a rural greyhound depot reminding riders that garbage bags are not considered proper luggage. How often is this a problem that someone is using hefty bags to carry their goods?

Yes, it'll give me a minute to look at an empty shelf then go chat with the warehouse guys for 15 minutes. Thanks for the break from the floor.

source, I worked retail while in school.

well in that case you aren't leaving a lot of career choices for the kids since you've already ruined for them doctor, dentist, karate master, school teacher, pizza delivery guy, and plumber...

Not OP but I feel like sharing. In no particular order and certainly not exclusive:

The naked lady that showed up at my counter naked after having an argument in another part of the store. Sounds good but that only because in your mind she looks like Jennifer Lawrence when in reality she was closer to Roseanne Barr.

The religious family (closer to fringe cult) whose father insisted I give a random discount on a $30 item. Thus was much pounding on the counter with talk of God and Jesus insisting a discount was in order followed by threats they would take their business elsewhere forever. I told him I couldn't (yeah, I could have) and they dropped $12 worth of random stuff on my counter and were never heard from again.

The guy who jumped onto my counter demanding I drop the other customers in front of him because he had urgent business. He did not.

So many more, I could spend the day doing this.

A harsh lesson for anyone thinking about being rude to a minimum wage retail worker, they don't give a shit about you and will laugh their ass off retelling your story.

For those wondering if they might be autistic here's a online test to get you started. Most of the online tests you'll find use the same questions.

Keep in mind this is not a definitive test. Consider it a starting point to do more research. Consult with a proper professional for a proper diagnosis.

Most people with autism don't know they have it. It's just who they are and that's perfectly fine. Knowing you are autistic, high or low, allows you to make better informed choices in your life.

I work in an office with a lot of brilliant engineers many of whom scored very high, marketing not as much, with this test when it was introduced to the group as a lark a couple years ago. Most had no idea and it opened up things considerably.

PS. Engineering scored generally in the high 20's low 30's, Marketing in the 5-15's. Not a scientific study but telling anecdotally.
