Wow...my girlfriend's entire family was at Auschwitz and many other camps. We just visited Poland in May and went to Auschwitz, saw many of their Christian friends from before the Holocaust whom the family has maintained an amazing friendship with for 70 years...Her grandparents both survived, though almost no other family members did, and we just watched a ton of the archived footage from interviews they did in the 80s and 90s. As a Jew with very strong connection to the Holocaust - my family and hers, there is always a desire to see some sort of vengeance photos for what was done, for better or worse, that's how I feel...this picture definitely just gave me chills, thank you.
