With that in mind, why do you go out of your way to sound inflammatory about religion even when the subject is irrelevant? I couldn't stop laughing when Dr. Krauss gave an astrophysics lecture in which religion was frequently joked about after zero provocation, with Dr. Dawkins edging him along - not at the joke, but at how absurd the comments were at the time.

The impression you give to most educated people I've met and with whom your work has been discussed (all scientists by the way - you can't really seem to meet anyone else when you're in academia) is that you're running a franchise designed to make obnoxious people feel clever.
