In Norway, where I am from and currently live, police officers (patrolmen, atleast) are required to stay physically fit in order to keep their job. Is this also the case where you work (if not in the entire US)?
Please do not be offended by my question, but I have never been to the US and so my only experience with American culture comes from the media. And in many movies, police officers tend to be overweight and quite fond of a certain food item. I realise movies are just movies, but still. I am sorry for asking, but I've wanted to know for sure for a long time. I really appreciate you for the work you do, nonetheless.
