There are many WWII books out there. What differentiates your book from the rest of them; is there an overall theme?

I see. My grandfather was a corpsman during WWII in the south pacific. I am not entirely sure where, but people in the family seem to think it was around guadalcanal. When he was alive, he never spoke about it, but had violent nightmares all the time. He died when I was young- around 10 or so. Later, I became a paramedic, and always regretted not being able to "talk shop" with him about anything. Are there any incidents which you remember that involve the medics/corpsman where you were? What were they like, what did they do?

oh... so you thought that was a response? lol. That was just political doublespeak and dancing around the actual question. This is a debate, and his answer was "we should have a debate!"

really? Thats like saying "im just raising awareness." Correct me if im wrong, but doesnt the congressman already HAVE a point of view on this issue? Hasnt he already made up his mind? Why then wont or cant he defend his position but instead resorts to "talking is cool.. lets talk more later!"?

Incidentally, many of these corporations are foreign-owned (click the links for details).

You know, this is very interesting. Traditionally, i've been against this sort of thing, however in this new age of globalism, where who is elected in the USA effects everyone in the world, I think its valid for them to have their input as well. Its not as if they can vote themselves, but they can tell us ,the voters, what they think. It brings more of an accountability, since the people are supposed to govern, but yet we have a trend of "well its my government, not me whos doing this to you".

Excellent post. Something tells me this is one the op will "accidentally overlook."
