I'm from Germany and have no clue so sorry if my questions are weird.

Are there American Indian or even Navajo specific newspapers, radio or tv news shows? If no why? If yes, What are they like compared to other news?

I think that's a vital point to maintaining a language. Really makes me happy to hear. In Germany there is something called a 'Volkshochschule'. It roughly translates to community college but it is more about single courses you can enter to broaden your knowledge. For example languages, sign language, stuff like this.

Is there some institution like this i could visit to learn Navajo? (Hypothetically speaking)

Because the mental scarring of being taken hostage and stabbed by a stalker isn't necessarily fixable. Trauma can last far longer than 12 years. Ask Vietnam vets if you find one. They probably know at least one guy who wakes up screaming and sweating, grabs the gun under his pillow and hides behind the couch, close to nightly.
