Please dont take this as an insult, they are sick sick people.

So they flew you there and then theatened to make you pay flight costs and hotel bills?

At this point if no contract has been signed how could they? Or at least if they somehow they could charge you, how could they stop you from negotiating the terms? Do you get royalties? Do the contracts require a witness? Who was the witnes?

I really hope you get some kind of retribution or at least compensation that allows you to follow your dreams and move foward in life.

Surely as non religious types you can see religious identity and propaganda on both sides is the real problem between the ordinary folks, for the oligarch's its probably more asset and financial in nature with identity being the excuse for polarisation.

this would have stopped a lot of bouncer fights i've been in.....even a simple..."drink this water and wait out here for 10 minutes(you could keep me out there for 20and just say ten) and we'll let you back in with your mates" would have avoided conflict.
