My girlfriend and later fiancé dealt with medical issues all through high school and I have to admit, I certainly didn't deal with t as well as I could have. I grew frustrated, and tired, and felt like we were on a loop where she would be fine, then in pain for a while where I couldn't even hug her, then fine again. I ran out of things to say, I felt like I was just hanging around waiting for the real girl to come out of the pain. It was hard, until I realized one day that she wanted the hugs and kissing and all that stuff I did too. And it was worse for her, because she felt like she was causing it.

I finally realized that we could have moments of intimacy other ways like picnics out in the woods and me stroking her hair while she reads or naps or watches tv. Things got better. I'm glad I learned from it and I'm sorry you had to experience what was surely worse.

And the love of the dog teaches them the error of their predatory ways, so they off themselves.
