I second this, especially with how god damn STRONG modern weed is. Back in my day there were 2 types; regs, and the strong shit. Now you can only find the strong shit. Back in our parents day you'd get a bag of leaves and seeds, shit we wouldn't even call weed. There's just no comparing. I think this is part of the reason for the switch from joints to bowls to dabs. It's just easier to regulate than lighting up a joint and smoking it to the dome, something that I wouldn't even be capable of with modern bud.

Best to take it slow. Take a hit, let it sit for a few minutes, see how you're feeling, and if it's gravy then maybe take another. I've been a smoker for many many years and I still find that 2 hits is all I need 90% of the time. No reason to 'chug' as you say.

I mean, that argument doesn't really hold much water anyway. It's not the bank's job to decide which degree is worth pursuing, just what investment will produce a return.
