I've been traveling for a while, and I'm the kind of person who tends to pack too many clothes, which just weighs me down and encumbers me as I move around. I don't go to many formal events, there are some, most of my needs are casual/sports. Any tips for creating a travel-friendly, versatile, multi-function wardrobe?

(Also, your website looks really nice!)

Hi Jean!

I'm not a therapist, but I am a fan of the show. I wrote to the show not that long ago about my social paralysis and how bad it had gotten. I've always been introverted and shy, but things got particularly bad when I was dealing with mental health issues while living away from home. If you'd like to hear what they told me, the link to the show is here:

This answer starts at 36:30. I wrote it when I was in a really bad place (physically and mentally) so I wasn't very coherent, but they could understand me and offered a lot of great advice.

One of the best things that has helped me so far is not living alone. When I was living alone, I perpetuated my own isolation, which worsened all my other issues, and I was falling deeper into the abyss. Also, it's helpful to use my brief moments of "social inspiration," for lack of a better word, to contact/reply to one or two people. I usually feel better after doing this, not worse.

I hope at least some of this is useful. If you're feeling brave, you can DM me and we can talk about not talking, haha. Or maybe I'll feel brave and DM you (maybe, haha).

Good luck~
