Well...once upon a time he wanted to set up a roadblock, searching every vehicle thoroughly for drugs, just for the fuck of it. It had to be explained to him that this was unconstitutional. Bad enough? yeah. But there's more! Like rolling over on half of his deputies in a major criminal conspiracy his department was involved in. That conspiracy? Correct! DRUG SMUGGLING! He is openly racist when speaking about latinos and the prison he runs/designed/whatever is cruel and unusual punishment (outdoor prison in an Arizona summer). He keeps getting re-elected because vast swaths of Arizonians are bigoted and unreasonable people.
