Do you take the time to really enjoy each country that you're in and experience the culture? Or do you find that most of the time you're trying to figure out/secure rides to get you to your next destination?

Hey guys, I just noticed your AMA and really interested in your story. I will have to check it out later but don't want to miss the opportunity to ask you a question. What are your thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement? Personally, I feel that (what gets broadcasted anyway) it's been a very one-sided debate on the brutality and systemic racism on the part of the police department, and not a lot of acknowledgement that there are issues within the affected communities as well. I find it's pointless to focus all the energy on the "how things got this way", but rather spend a lot more time on the "well this is how things are, so let's focus on making changes on both sides of the fence." I wish there was more activism and changes made from within the community, which would be so empowering for the individuals involved in those communities to stand up and make changes from within.
