London ontario represent! What gave you the inspiration for this game?

Just want to say congrats Hugh, amazing book and I couldn't be happier with the show, great cast great visuals great music, honestly mind blown. I read the book 10 years ago and to see this now is super cool. Can't imagine how surreal this is for you :) My question is what sport is popular in the silo? I can't remember if it's brought up in the series but is like billiards or curling going on? Lol
