Question - do you think Arizona is moving, long-term, towards a trend of moderation or even to the left, politically speaking?

Seeing how close we are in this current election cycle, I'm hopeful that we can get away from being "Little Texas" for awhile, and become a bit more balanced.

Seems like a more reasonable approach for a news outlet. "Hey, this tragedy happened, we can mourn the victims, let's not give the attention seeking murder all the attention he wants, and let's move on to let the families of the victims grieve."

What a novel idea.

Out of curiosity, does the media in Ireland plaster the perpetrators of these events all over the news, 24/7 when it happens? We get to see it on every major news show when it happens here, for a week or two.

Might be a contributor to encouraging others seeking the attention to do the same things over here. I'm guessing Irish media handles tragedy a little more tastefully.
