If you've got someone with an "alter ego" that is spreading racism and attempting to hurt people of different races, can you really say they're definitely not racist?

If I punch you in the face while pretending to be Tom Cruise, you've still been punched in the face by me, even if I'm not who I say I am. If I verbally attack a mentally ill person while pretending to be Jesus, it doesn't matter that I'm not Jesus, I've still attacked and hurt someone vulnerable. If I make a website about how much I hate black people, but do so while pretending to be part of a church, I'm still being racist, even if I'm hiding behind someone else's doctrine.

Your friend using pseudonyms doesn't stop them from being racist, it just makes them a racist coward. The fact that they're educated and from another country is utterly irrelevant.

As far as I'm concerned, as soon as the people doing the AMA start moderating their own AMA, including reposting stuff that the moron mods deleted, this sub is dead.

Admins need to cull the current group of mods or figure out a new place to do these.

I think you've hit the nail on the head here. I love the man, but he has always struck me as a person who despised this kind of shit, and succumbing to Twitter was the one and only social media thing he was willing to do.

Yup, not in any way taking away from how AWESOME this is, there were some "sloppy" moments when you can see exactly what he was doing (like solving it in one hand as he was taking it out of the bag, when we saw him make a slight adjustment), but all that does is just leave me amazed at how he still manages to somehow do it.

In fact, if I didn't see that adjustment as it came out, I would have put it down to some basic "magic" event where he just did something tricksy... but no, he actually solves it in one hand in the time it takes to remove it from the bag. Incredible.

(Or maybe that's what he wants us to notice and think).
