Just a quick friendly hint here, Reddit will take more kindly to you without mentioning the book in replies too much. Hearing more about how you encountered these new things to you would be awesome! Add some details and you'll get on better :)

Your story sounds intense, I can't imagine the stress of so much solitary on a child and your victim is such a hero in the end to forgive and help you, amazing characters all round I think.

Interestingly, although I can’t see anyone saying it outright, I’m getting the impression from these answers that the virus has to be breathed in to infect someone. So perhaps if it’s ingested that’s not a problem? if anyone knows and can clarify please do.

Wow tho, stepping up from no management experience to 30 is nuts, well done for surviving honestly!

I love tuna on a pizza, mostly with pineapple, and sometimes chicken too. I hope the Dominos near me give their staff gloves so they don't have to smell of tuna after prepping my pizza!

It can often be money, but I want to add that sometimes money can be the excuse. I used it before, and what I really meant was I was too scared and so I used money as the excuse. When I get over the fear I saw that I could make sacrifices for a few years and get therapy. Again, not to invalidate those that have no money and have looked and found no free resources. But it's important to add this potential explanation for those that might be using it as an excuse, I've known quite a few examples of people saying they don't have the money, and meaning they'd prefer to spend on something else, despite their mental health needing desperate help.
