If you were to create a QA department at a new studio, what would be the best current examples in the industry you would try to copy? Or if there isn't one, how would you design one yourself?

I'm wondering since I've helped start an indie studio and been reading all sorts of articles and I realized there is nearly a void of information on how to properly organize testing (apart from playtesting).

At which point did you realize that TED could become the big thing it is today? Was it something you envisioned since you took over or has it become more than you ever dreamed of?

The Cedar Fire was very insane. Being up on a mountain with a western view during that time, at night it was like looking directly into Mordor. Only regrets were that I didn't have a good digital camera to take pictures and didn't pack up some more things (lost both places).

The one lasting side effect from that time is that I managed to develop a very sensitive nose to any woodburning smoke.
