Hi, thanks for doing this! A lot of people are complaining that trans young people (like myself) are damaged by prescription of blockers and hormones. Do you have an opinion on what age group these medicines should be prescribed to, or should it be based off of onset of puberty, as people start at different times?

obviously not OP but due to the massive waitlist for GICs, a lot of trans people go private and receive private prescriptions. The doctors will usually ask GPs to do shared care, and when this works it's great, but a lot of the time GPs will just outright refuse saying that they don't want to be responsible. Problem is, private prescriptions for hormones and blockers are crazy expensive. If you'd be willing to help your patients with that, or at the very least do the blood tests required, your trans patients would adore you for all time. Additionally, I believe GIC guidance says bridging prescriptions can be provided?
