He's probably only in a couple episodes, so NFL would probably pay better (assuming he doesn't get more roles after this, which is a huge assumption). But Game of Thrones and, to a lesser extent, strongman, don't carry as huge a risk of injury/brain damage as playing in the NFL.

To be clear, it's a thing.

How high is the bleed rate at your institution? As an Otolaryngology resident in the US I have a very hard time imagining the risk benefit ratio or NNT favoring this approach, particularly during a pandemic while much of your patient population is waiting on a vaccine. If the goal is to catch all bleeds while patient is in house, you are missing the portion who bleed on days 6-7.

MGSV sold like hotcakes despite a mix of Kiefer Sutherland and complete silence replacing David Hayter. I don't think anyone liked the change, but we all bought/played the crap out of it.

Not OP but deadlifting is hard for me since any force from my spine slipping out of the right alignment is carried by the vertebra at the bottom of the fusion rather than distributed along the spine. There's also a little bit of muscle loss on the muscles directly attached to the spine (fibers die off during the surgery), which for some people is an issue depending on how extensive it is. I was also very sensitive to jostling right after my surgery, but nowadays I'm pretty good on that front. I also have some issues related to where my spine sits and that muscle loss that affect my scapular stability, which used to cause some bursitis but now mostly helps my bench suck even more than my DL and squat.
