Im so excited to find a language expert!

I'm a language enthusiast - 22, almost 23. I speak 4 languages (English, French, Romanian, Japanese), will start studying my 5th one this January (Italian).

If I may ask, am I at a disadvantage for starting a language after the end of my developmental years? Is it possible to enforce my language abulity despite my age? Can I learn more than 5 in the coming years - my 20s and 30s?

Is it possible to really lose a language skill if you don't practice it?

And lastly, can I study more than one language at a time?

I know that's a lot of questions but please please answer at least some. You're the best chance I have to getting further in achieving my passion. After high school, I actually applied to Bath and got in but opted for another country. In another world, I could've asked these questions directly :)
