I saw Saving Private Ryan; he seemed tough.

Personal policy, but when shopping at Fry's, I simply walk past that dude. If I he asks to see my receipt, I just smile, and politely say, "No thank you" and keep walking. Most times I get a "Thank you for shopping, have a nice day."

Not trying to be rude, but I don't really respect their model of treating the customer as a potential thief.

Um.... Q1:0 Q2:100 Q3:100 Q4:100

equals 300 Divide by 4 for average = 75.... Isn't that passing?

Did I miss something since I took math forever ago?

How much discretion do you have for providing make-up work, or extra credit?

For example, he totally farked those first two tests, but since then learned that material, and now knows it well. Is not the grade supposed to be a measure of mastery of the material, and not a discreet aggregate of test scores?

I know that my son's school will often provide students extra credit assignments to demonstrate gained knowledge, and to bolster poor grades into passing, if mastery can be demonstrated on a case-by-case basis.
