I too have type 1 NF, so no questions really. Just more of a how are you holding up? I luckily have had no tumors or neurofibromas, only the aú lait spots and minor visual problems.

That's good. How did your parents take it when you were diagnosed? Mine told me I was only a year old or so, and they were devastated. Especially when the doctor told them that learning disabilities are common with NF and I'd likely be mentally retarded. Luckily that didn't happen, and I have managed to be in the top 3% of my class.
