I certainly have not formulated a concrete opinion as much of this subject matter is way over my head, as with probably 98% of the rest of the population.

However you must forgive the non-medically educated populace for not believing outright the claims of the multi billion dollar companies offering up a 'life long' stop gap treatment in lieu of an outright cure, when this treatment also happens provide said companies with tens of thousands of dollars revenue per patient per year.

In my some what cynical mind it is certainly not outside the realms of possibility that treatments such as AZT would bring about the very AID Syndrome they are supposed to suppress, thereby locking the patient in a life long need to use said treatment.

It's not my intention to spread dangerous mis-truths about such a serious subject however I certainly don't believe everything big pharma has to say and nor should anyone else. After all they make money out of treatments not cures.

Though I certainly believe in the scientific method, methodological analysis and peer review is the only reliable way we can tackle any of life's questions.
