Do the mine's ever "expire"... I know it sounds like a stupid question but do they ever degrade to a point where they simply can't explode... or could I theoretically step on a 200 year old mine and it explodes

Is there any sense of urgency or panic in upper management ? Do they feel like they are winning or losing the war

Would backpacking Australia or the U.S have been easier (assuming You traveled the same distance and were also an outsider on Australia)

Also what are some places you reccomend in your homeland , I'm currently planning on taking a semester off to go to Aussie!
