Yeah that's the best, but also check out the way Homer says "Oh Yeah" in this one (like he's literally forgotten he's asked for a favor from a mob boss):

I think it's because "jerk" hasn't always meant a-hole. In the past, it's also meant a sort of hapless buffoon; as in, "that poor jerk."

Huh? I'm only peripherally aware of this case, and even I know about the marijuana/noise complaints stuff. What media outlets are you looking at?

I actually wondered about this. I haven't followed the case closely, so I wondered in what fashion exactly the police were trying to "smear" the victim. Did they simply list the evidence they'd recovered? Or were they making a big deal of it at a press conference?

If the former, your comment should be upvoted to show that there was no "smear" campaign as we normally think of such things.

> I am so sick of seeing the criminalization of the victims in these shootings.

It sounds to me like Guyger is guilty. I never pretend to have all the evidence, but I can't imagine (at this point) what evidence could possibly clear her.

Martin, on the other hand: As the courtroom evidence showed, Martin was shot //while straddling Zimmerman and raining down punches on him//. That is a criminal act.
