Australia recently implemented a law on tobacco packaging forcing them to remove branding and have plain packages with huge health warning pictures. http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2012/aug/15/tobacco-plain-packaging-australia-court

In New Zealand, they are no longer able to display tobacco products and have to be kept out of sight (e.g. under the counter). They are also planning to try make the country 'smoke-free' by 2020

What do you think of the strategies used against smoking in countries like New Zealand and Australia. Do you think the US will eventually follow the same path?
