I've convinced my dad to vote Greens and he'll tell mum how to vote since she doesn't know whos who. Definitely start by converting older Aussies with issues that affect them. Also just use their policies as talking points with friends who aren't sure who to vote.

Hi Scott, my husband and I are renters, ineligible for Centrelink for earning too much (husband isn't Australian so he's also ineligible for Centrelink) and we often spend more than a third of our total income on rent. I saw the policies Greens announced recently to increase rental assistance. Also since my husband isn't on a PR, we can't get NRAS properties. Is there anything other than the promise of safer and better quality properties that would help my husband and I and Australians in a similar situation?

Thanks for your reply Scott, I'm really looking forward to seeing how far Greens can get with renters rights. I got into a discussion with my father this morning and he's against negative gearing and will be happy to know the Greens position on the issue.

Also NRAS properties are still available in QLD, at least in Brisbane with several new/less than 5 year old apartments in our price range that we can't access for my husband not being eligible to access it.

Sorry another couple of questions this time on digital rights... How important is it to use a VPN on smart phones and home computers? Should it be always turned on or only accessing certain websites?
