If Drizzt was transported to our world, what would he be up to a decade after the fact? Where would he be living? What kind of companions would he keep?

Also you've been one of my favorite authors since I first started reading. I have many childhood memories of reading your books at the library on the weekends, and I've had a ton of fun catching up with my childhood friends these last few years doing a re-read (not just with the Forgotten Realms crew either!). Thanks so much for enriching my life with your works!

This is actually really interesting to think about. Being a male in Drow society was such a shaping moment in his life that being a woman would fundamentally change the hero in so many ways... it would make the aspects they still share that much more interesting to examine.

Sure, animal abuse is a bad thing, but people are not going to stop eating meat because of that.

That is the leading cause for why people go vegan or vegetarian. The people who have issues with vegetarians are not going to be the same people who care about animal abuse.
