My mother does the same thing, we are based in far north Queensland. She mainly specialises in possums, she currently has thirteen possums, three sugar gliders and one squirrel glider.

You guys do hard work, and you're all absolute champions. Keep it up! :)

What release methods do you prefer? Hard, or soft release? Do you have trouble finding locations for soft release sites? And have you experimented with releasing around your place of residence? (Hint: don't. I get ambushed by possums racing my my leg when I walk across the two houses we have here.)

Also, what is your primary source of funding if you don't mind me asking?

Oh Fuck yes. Get charged 70 dollars for a 10 minute trip. Makes a night out much less alcoholic..

Do the local veterinary clinics provide services at a discounted rate at least?

Do you deal with any specialist animals? For example; in our area we often have tree kangaroos injured by dogs, and traffic etc. We have a few specialists in the area who just specialise in these types of animals as well as macropods. Do you end up passing these animals onto specialist carers if available?

Hi, this is a very interesting AMA so far!

I'm currently visiting the UK. I just made a purchase for £239.99, I got home and noticed that charge and also another charge for £230 belonging to a 'Streamline' group. I did a little googling and they seem to be an actual fraud prevention site trying to prevent this. I did not authorize this purchase.

I visited an ATM right out of the shop where I purchased the tablet for £239, and tried to withdraw £30. I checked for things like card readers and such, all seemed fine. The ATM denied my withdrawal because I was using a foreign card.. No worries, walked up the road and found another ATM out front of a big bank (Barclay's) and the withdrawal went through fine.

There was a little difficulty paying for my tablet as they needed to call my debit card provider for authorization, again because it was a foreign card. The card never left my sight.

The card has since been canceled but it is a huge pain in the ass because I'm due to leave for Germany on Monday..

So what does it seem like has happened in your eyes?
