I was wondering, do you feel it's been difficult to move on from MLP and work on other projects?

what sort of equipment do you use on these investigations?

Weren't you that guy who got detained at the border and then got flesh eating disease?

Has those experiences changed how you write? what you write?

What sort of research is done in microbiology that isn't directly related to humans and human disease? A lot of the time microbiology seems to have a hyper focus on disease--for good reason--but surely that's not the end all be all of the microscopic world.
