It’s generally not possible to tell the difference without a lot of analysis, unless it’s really obviously random noises (e.g. if it keeps changing around or if there are things like someone saying two words and the subtitles show a very complex sentence). Personally the most disappointing is when it turns out to just be a word-for-word substitution of English (which you can somewhat recognize if you pay attention and are given translations).

That’s why I like a hybrid approach. After 25 minutes, take a break whenever I feel like I need one. 25 minutes work is usually more than enough to get going properly. And once I’m working on it, I tend to have much less issues to just keep going, as long as I’m getting some results.

Not good enough, you need three. One to cancel out the italics caused by the underscores and then two for one to display.
¯_(ツ)_/¯ single backslash escapes italics
¯\(ツ)/¯ first backslash escapes second, thus italics aren't escaped
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ first backslash escapes second, third escapes the italics
ㄟ(ツ)ㄏ unicode escapes your problems by offering a better solution

A friend of mine has claimed that the High Valyrian noun cases are suspiciously similar to those of Serbian. Is this mere coincidence?
