LegalZoom registered business owner here. I started a film production company and filed with LegalZoom in New York. For 80% more money, they give you a nice binder for all your legal documents that they print for you. What they don't tell you? That you have to register your NY business in two law publications/journals.

In essence, I paid around $1200 to JUST register my production company with LegalZoom. It costs $200 to do it yourself. Another $700 to publish in two law journals/publications. Won't be doing that again.
