When a scratch ticket claims that there are "win for life winners" or there are "10 $2 million prizes" do they actually have those already printed? I always think that they will wait until the last second to print those then distribute them. I mean it would be bad for business if all grand prizes were won at the start. Also, do they continue to print tickets as they go along or all tickets for a game printed at once, distributed and that's that?

I'm not going to get into detail but I know what you mean / experienced but to a larger extent. Glad to hear that you guys are ok and safe. Definitely nerve wracking but good luck on having the guys caught with 100% certainty that it was them!
What kind of local cardrooms are there down there that could have someone be followed home? I'm guessing it's not necessarily a casino? Are the cardrooms underground down there or as they are where I used to live part of the proceeds go to charity which allows them to operate with a gaming license?

Heard you're a dealer in CT. What games do you deal there? I frequent both places but the way I look at it - if I want to gamble I go to the larger one (FW) and for entertainment/night life I go to the other one. I've talked to quite a few dealers and it seems like many people hop back and forth between working at each place. Is there any reason for this?
Question for both of you: Is it hard to move up in the industry? I had a friend who just got out of the industry (FW) because the corporate politics were so corrupt it would be impossible for him to move up without having some kind of heritage tied into the industry.

It's funny that you wrote about this tonight. Not sure if you caught Dateline NBC but Chris Hansen did a special where he had an undercover crew go into retailers, present 3 tickets (2 losers and 1 winner say $7500) and see what the retailer would do. Some of them would tell them that they won a big prize, others would say "All losers" or "You won $5!" then they would turn around and try to claim the prize for themselves. Needless to say Chris Hansen would walk in and say "Why don't you have a seat right there..." It was a great special to watch, did you catch it?
