Why are you posting in r/Denver?

Hey /u/omgitsninjabrian, its my understanding that you do the musical side of things pretty much on your own, and the collaborate with Danny on awesome lyrics/song ideas. My questions are; do you have any formal music training? I've really enjoyed listening to your guys' songs as I learn more jazz theory, and interesting things like that. Secondly, how do you normally start a song? Like, does Danny come to you with a melody/chorus bit, or do you start with a riff/bass line you like?
