I feel you on the crying. I've never been a crier, but when things were getting bad after I got out and then while I was doing CBT, I cried all the time, even just walking down a busy public street. Like ugly cry, gettin stared at, tryin not to make a scene... Lol

It's better since I've done CBT, but I'm starting to feel like maybe I've just moved back to being numb.

Thanks for your service, I'm glad you're making it and doing better now.

I hadn't heard this but it makes so much sense. One of my ex-SF buddies is going to be an ER nurse. And now I'm in a stressful job working with folks with very severe mental illnesses. The workcenter I'm in reminds me quite a lot of where I worked when I was in, and my PTSD symptoms have nearly done a 180 since I've started, even better than after I'd completed cbt. I will have to keep this in mind and share with my other buddies struggling in their civvie jobs. Thanks!
