The numbers you spout sound unbelievable. Is there a thermodynamic proof somewhere supporting what you're saying?

What percentage of the working population do you think are experiencing burnout or a feeling of stress from helplessness against what feels like an attack on quality of life?

This is a loaded question, and I know you're not looking for a real answer but I'll give one anyway. Substance abuse isn't a factor of money. You see both poor and rich succumbing at similar rates in the general population.

Substance abuse is more a factor of environement and personal experience. If drug use is normalized or encouraged with your immediate friends/family, you are far more likely to abuse as well.

Also, if you have experienced some trauma and found that substances help alleviate the symptoms in some way, you're more likely to continue to use/abuse substances.

There are other causes of substances abuse but I think those two examples are far and wide the biggest ones.

Giving people free money won't make them do drugs. Would you suddenly start doing heroin if someone gave you an extra $500 a month?

Brother, listen, wood is nothing more than a mass of carbon, it's fuel in the same sense that any hydrocarbon is.

At the end of the day there is X amount of carbon in wood available to make energy from.

Rocket mass heaters may be far more efficient than a conventional WOOD STOVE but they definitely arent more efficient, or cleaner, than a natural gas system
