Yeah I don’t have a great grasp for the medical terminology, but based on some papers I was looking at last year, the innovation is a math problem, not medical.

Imagine a perpetual campaign cycle by federal justices to get nominated for the Supreme Court. The entire court system would devolve into demagoguery.
