Thanks for the ama. What's the story behind your NASA training? How were you selected to fly the SR-71? What's the fastest speed you achieved? What can you see at different altitudes?

If it's already in an electronic format, you should just (with your grandfather's permission) upload it to archive.org and link to it in the history subs and the like, so that people know that it's there (I know I'd be interested); an archive would be more interested in unedited contemporaneous documents. But if you (or any other redditors) ever find any of those, ask an institution to look at them and make copies. (And get an electronic copy to upload, yourself - they might not be in a hurry to share.)
