As another young adult who's been involved with building educational facilities in far-away countries to help the local people find their way in life:
How much bribery did you end up having to put up with? One of the most irksome things about my experience was trying not to line the pockets of the corrupt local officials, only to end up losing months of time and having to line them anyway.
