I don't know why so many white people claim that Asians get these types of surgeries to appear more like their western counterparts. She clearly doesn't look white. She clearly still looks Asian. Plus, close to 50% of East Asians are born with natural double eyelids.

I'm not saying that there isn't a desire among some ethnic people to look more 'western'. After all, we're all products of the white man's world who set standards on beauty many years ago. But when it comes to double eyelid surgery, it isn't so cut and dry.

Please stop accusing Asians with double eyelids that they're trying to be more 'white'. It's insulting and frankly makes you look like a bit of a supremacist, like everyone wants to be just like you.
