Does Natational Geographic really say "we publish pictures, not excuses" when you're on deadline?

Also, if an amazingly talented travel photographer wanted to working with NatGeo travel, what would you recommend as a first step?

I was there 18 years and one day ago, we just missed the explosion by 24 hours. How clearly does your dad remember the details of that time? Does he have advice for other first responders?

A few of my cousins were on scene as weekly, paramedic and firefighter but have never been willing to speak about what they saw. You're right too, the memorial is beautiful and those little chairs for the children made me cry.
