I didn't know pizza existed in the U.S. in the 40's let alone delivery!

Edit: Ahh, now I know why I was confused, I read some time ago that pizza didn't become popular until after WW2 when soldiers who occupied italy came back wanting it, I mistook "became popular" with "introduced". As people below mentioned it was brought over from Italy in 1905 but I reckon it was mostly Italian immigrants who ate it before WW2.
