Hello, I had colorectal cancer 5 yrs ago. I now have a colostomy bag. I’ve lost the desire and excitement of eating as everything just seems to go right through me. Fibre is off limits to me as it causes uncontrollable flatulence at the most awkward of times. Is there a way of meeting my dietary needs without causing myself undo embarrassment? I can’t say I’m losing weight as I do enjoy my Guinness.
