Hey man, I used to be a crew member for CCL... thanks for doing this AMA!

This is sooooo true. I used to be a check-in agent for F9 (Frontier) and I had this super bitch come through one day. I went to check her bag and she told her nicely it would be $20. She then proceeded to through a fit insisting that "4 years ago she didn't pay for her bag on Delta." Finally ended with her calling me a stupid asshole, so I gathered up all her paperwork and said I was finished helping her and she could get back in line.

Turns out the other person who helped her forgot to give her the boarding pass for her first flight (she had a connection) and she came back through my line. I gladly said "Oh, I'd be happy to help you with that!" and I swapped her from a window up front to a middle seat in the back. Who's the stupid asshole now?

I used to comp so many bags when I worked for F9 too, their computer system was so jacked up they never knew what we did but since this lady was so rude there was no way I was comping her bag!

But hey, I was probably the nicest check-in/gate agent otherwise... I always made announcements and gave away the exit rows at the gate if they were open (for free), helped seat families together and would move offer to move people to better seats for free on low booked flights!

Are you taking one of the chartered flights back to Houston tomorrow?
