Do you happen to have links to those studies? I would think that all of the countries that banned guns and no longer have considerable gun violence is a tough argument to beat. I'd like to read those studies (as well as check who paid for them)

I understand that banning guns won't stop criminals from getting them, but it makes it significantly more difficult. LSD is a Class-A drug in this country and it took me YEARS to finally find some. (10/10 would recommend to a friend) Common sense tells you that making something hard to get makes it uncommon.
